Hello Rishabh, please have a seat
Thank you sir!
So how was your interview with Mrs XYZ?
Excellent sir! I had a great time talking to her
Good Good! So Rishabh can you just tell walk me through your resume?
Sure sir! Starting out from my schooling, I scored an 86.8% in class 12th in the PCM field. I have always been interested in engineering so I took up ECE in jiit. Along with my degree you’ll see that I have made 5 projects in total. 2 minor projects and the rest are AWS Projects. Talking about the minor projects, if you’ll look closely, you’ll see that both of my projects are in seemingly different domains
That’s because I like to work on new technologies and expand my area of expertise and the best way acquire a new skill set or to know if you ever want to pursue a career in a particular field is to make projects on the same. As for the AWS projects, I hosted my own portfolio website Blogshlog.be end-to-end on AWS and deploying a node.js webapp again on AWS. The last is also more or less an extension to the website. (INTERRUPTED)
Okay so how do you think that this certification is going to help you in deloitte and why do you want deloitte?
Sir Deloitte’s reputation is certainly the biggest motivation. Also when we talked with our alumnus who have been working with you since last two months have pointed out that the work culture here and the work life balance has been great
Also Mrs PQR also stated in the session itself that this advisory field didn’t limit her to a particular field and that she has been switching since then. Sir I do not want to work on cloud my whole life but rather I want to be able to learn new technologies in different domains and deloitte is offering me that. Sir that’s pretty much it
(NODDING) now I’ll give you a situation. Consider you’re the person in-charge in an organization and there’s this woman who has just returned from 7 month long maternity leave and is asking for another month off for looking after her new born child
Men in your organization are revolting that they are fathers on new-borns too and it isn’t fair for her to get more leaves. How will you handle the situation?
Sir I would talk it out with the woman in concern that there are certain regulations and norms that need to be followed by everyone irrespective of the gender. (INTERRUPTED)
But the norm allow that. Norms allow her to take leaves after the maternity leaves too. Then what will you do?
If the norms allow her that then I would try to organize certain workshops for both men and women stating how the life of a woman is very much different from that of man
A woman is the backbone of a household irrespective of the fact is she’s married or not or she has a child or not. The things she has to go through in her day to day life need to be considered too
Okay! Are you okay with puzzles? I’m about to give you one
I can definitely try sir!
You can pull out only one fruit from a single jar only once. You have to identify what each jar actually contains
(I tried it for 2-3 minutes while sharing my approach and thought process with him. APPROACH MATTERS MORE THSN THE SOLUTION ITSELF)
Can yo find a conclusive answer to this question? the answer need to be conclusive to be absolutely correct
(tries for another minute)
That’s fine. Do you have any questions for me?
(DEMOTIVATED AF) No sir (I left the room and returned to it after 2 seconds)
Sir actually I do have a question. What is the solution to this puzzle?
Sit, Try it again
Sir please help me out, I want to know how to solve it
No. Keep trying until you find the solution
Okay sir, thank you!
